So, what in the world is Beventi!?
Well, one thing I want to make clear is that Beventi is not a fancy Italian coffee—despite its fancy name (which does sound delicious, actually!).

Beventi is a partial acronym, broken down as:
Book-EVENT-I (“I” meaning you—the reader!)
So, how in the world did I stumble upon Beventi!?
As a romance reader and a frequent attendee of signing events and Book Cons, I would scour the pages of Google, study and scrutinize various bookish blogs, author pages, podcasts, and—most importantly—Facebook groups to find the next event I might want to attend.
After all, these reader events are where I often found my people, met my favorite authors, and discovered new ones!
Now, there was nothing—and I mean nada—on the big, bad internet that offered a comprehensive guide to romance book events. When I first began researching the vast world of romance for Love On Demand, this gap kept coming up:
Where can readers and authors go to find a single, reliable list of book signings and events all in one place?
My initial thought as we were developing Love On Demand was that we should have an easy-to-navigate calendar of events included right on our homepage—and then… BAM! There was Beventi.
I didn’t even realize what I had uncovered at first. What a treasure to find! This was the best resource catalog for all events, including website links, Facebook pages, and author lists.
This is brilliant, I thought. I hadn’t seen anything like it. The only thing remotely close was a closed Facebook group with a shared Google doc that was… let’s just say, not exactly accurate.
I’m sure it wasn’t even Beventi’s original intention to deliver such a user-friendly and comprehensive guide to events—after all, the platform was originally designed for authors to manage presales.
But here we are, a little over a year later, and Beventi is killing it.
Why? Because it’s smart tech. It’s user-friendly. And it’s exclusively designed for readers and authors.
Sure, readers and authors could continue their old habit of Google and Facebook scavenging…
