We created this space because we believe romance deserves the spotlight. Our team of dedicated romance enthusiasts is here to connect you with your favorite authors, introduce you to new reads, and build a community where romance fans can come together.

Paige Weissman Gaines
Founder
With close to two decades of television production experience, Paige’s career has spanned across numerous unscripted genres. From her start in talk TV, to municipal cable programming, to Emmy-nominated doc-series.
Peripherally, Paige has always been an avid romance reader. Along the way, she discovered a need for more premier content embracing the romance space, alas resulting in Love on Demand.
Working full time both in office and from home, Paige manages three rambunctious kiddos and is an outspoken advocate for the Autism and special needs communities, a cause closest to her heart.
Favorite genres: Dark Romance, Contemporary / Small Town, and Billionaire Romance
Colby Gaines
Co-Founder
Colby Gaines of Back Roads Entertainment, located in his home state of Texas after 20 years in NYC, is an Emmy nominated executive producer and one of the top storytellers in unscripted entertainment. He’s well known for having co-created cable’s longest-running hit show, Pawn Stars. He’s managed large teams and a variety of C-suite partners and famous personalities, developing, producing and distributing thousands of hours of content for television, brands and fortune 500 companies. Currently, he’s working with lifestyle experts and celebrities like Abbott Elementary’s Lisa Ann Walter, Oscar Winner from CODA Troy Kotsur and comic superstar Matt Rife on formats for streaming, cable and broadcast.

Alexis Iraq
Director of Operations
Alexis Iraq got her start in unscripted television as an intern at Back Roads Entertainment and worked her way up to Vice President of Development. Along the way, she helped shape a wide-ranging slate of unscripted projects and led development deals with Amazon, Hulu, HGTV, Nickelodeon, Discovery ID, and more. She’s a graduate of NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, where she created her own concentration in Storytelling and Engagement with a minor in Producing. A lifelong reader, Alexis is thrilled to finally have people to talk books with.

Danni Williams
Social Media Coordinator
Danni Williams is a graduate from Texas State University where she majored in Journalism and Mass Communications along with a minor in Psychology. She spends her days playing at the park with her sweet & sassy German Shepherd, Ryder, and reading any book she can get her hands on!

Miranda Hernandez
Executive Assistant
Miranda Hernandez, born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelors in Radio-Television-Film. She has worn many hats in physical production. Miranda joined Back Roads Entertainment in the spring of 2024 and has been with Love On Demand since the very beginning.
